We conduct research and document braiding expertise. You will find, Atelier de Tressage in Paris in the third arrondissement : 3 rue Saint-Gilles, at the Caserne des Minimes. Weaving techniques are well known to the general public, but what about braiding? Yet we encounter braids in our daily lives (sweatshirts, laces, bags, blind cords and other uses, etc). With our slow looms, discover this technique that offers many possibilities.

- braids, borders, piping for trousers or skirts,
- laces to border garments or decorate objects,
- technical cords,
- finished or custom-made laces with the option to choose their length and tips,
- straps for bag handles or technical uses,
- ropes for leather goods and decoration,
- piping to embellish your cushions and all upholstery work, etc.
In our haberdashery, you will also find trimmings for your hobbies: jewellery making, scrapbooking and all your customisations.
The SCF factory in Andrezé (49) The Société Choletaise de Fabrication (SCF) is a weaver, braider, knitter and lacemaker in narrow widths and is based in Maine-et-Loire (49).
To be as close as possible to its professional and private Parisian customers, SCF (www.scfl.fr) has opened a workshop-boutique in the heart of the Marais.
Société Choletaise de Fabrication in Andrezé (SCF) is a supplier to shoe, bag, clothing and jewellery brands; SCF also offers soutaches and princess braids for embroiderers; borders for mattress manufacturers; carrying solutions in straps and ropes.
If a product is n’ot available at the Braiding Workshop, SCF can deliver it to you. SCF offers its products made-to-measure from 10,000 references available in 2,000 colours, or from stock products, a large part of which is visible at the Braiding Workshop.
